HomeMy WebLinkAbout2105 maK5349 PACE 49 r RESOLUTION NO. 2105 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PORTION OF FIRST STREET IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING VACATION OF SAID STREET, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF,REDLANDS ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE- The Council of the City of Redlands having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 59 Part 19 Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that the street described in this resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the closing of said street, SECTION TUD- The City Council hereby orders the vacation of that portion of First Street described as follows; All that _portion of First Street (formerly Lugonia Street) 50 feet in mod , including a portion of vacated Redlands Avenue., as shown on map of a portion of Rancho San Bernardino in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat recorded in Boole 7, Page 2 of Maps., records of said County, wh3-ch lies between the northerly line of *st Central Avenue (92 feet wide) and a :tine which is parallel with and distant southerly 25 feet from the northerly- line of Bloch B of said portion of the Rancho San Bernardino., and the westerly prolongation thereof. SECTION THREE. The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare ADOPTED9 SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of February, 1961. har e s C.
