SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion of a street described as follows . All that portion of Lot 5, Section 4, T2S, R3W, S.B.B. & M. in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, as shown on Book 9 of Maps, Page 27 thereof, records of said county, and described in whole as follows. Said parcel being northerly and westerly of the below des- cribed line, said line being a northerly and westerly boundary of a parcel deeded to the City of Redlands by Dr. I H. Crittenden and Jean L. Crittenden, husband and wife, deed recorded in Book 6632, Page 582, Official Records of the said County. Commencing at the centerline intersection of Terracina Boulevard and north line of said Section 4, thence north 24059 ' west 50 42 feet, thence south 65001 ' west- 35 feet to the be- ginning of a curve concave northerly having a radius of 176 00 feet and the beginning of the said line. Thence southerly and easterly along the said curve through a central angle of 590 47 ' 20" 183.66 feet, thence south 840 46 ' 20" east 15.06 feet to the beginning of a curve concave southwesterly having a radius of 23 feet, thence easterly and southerly along the said curve through a central angle of 900 00 ' 00" 36 .13 feet, thence continuing along the tangent to the said curve south 50 13 ' 40" west 26.32 feet to the begin- ning of a curve concave northwesterly having a radius of 80 feet, thence southerly along the said curve through a central angle of 510 05 ' 20" 71.33 feet, thence along the tangent to the said curve south 560 19 ' west 134.38 feet to the beginning of curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 202.00 feet, thence westerly and southerly along the said curve through a central angle of 280 00 ' 00" an arc distance of 98.72 feet to a point on said-': urve, thence north 230 41 ' west 20 feet, BOOK 6838 PAGE O0 z, Resolution No 2562 Page Two thence south 560 19 ` west 100 ± feet to a point on the east line of Lot 6 and the terminus of the said line. SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Council for vacation of the street described in Section 2, the City of Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent easement ,D and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing franchises or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines, and for the distribution or transportation of electric energy, petroleum, and its products, ammonia, water and incidental pur- ppses, including access and right to keep property free from inflam- mable materials, and wood growth, and to otherwise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and over the street proposed to be vacated. SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
