PRESEYT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF _ORTION OF SAID :STREET THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF �REDLAs', DS hereby ordains and resolves as followa : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of kedlande having electod to proceed under the provisions of DivisJ on. 9, wart 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Cate of than State of California, and � having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from � all the avmdensce Submitted that the street duscribed in this resolu- tion 15 ianneceesary for present or proaPec; ive purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the closing of said street SECTION TWO : The City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion of a street described as follows : A portion of Lots 1), 14 and 29 and a Portion of the alley, 13 feet wide, all in Block "A" , Subdivision of Block 28 of Redlands, as per plat recorded in Book 4 of Maps, page 2, Records of said County, described as follows : Beginning at the intersection of the West line of the East 20.00 feet of said Lot 13 with a line parallol with and distant 10.00 feat Southerly, measured at right angles, from the North. :Tine of said Block "A" ; thence South 89059'00" West along sand parallels Nine, 10.00 feet to the East line of the West 20000 feet of said Lot 14; thence Sough along said East luxe., 120.00 foot to the South line of said Lot 141 thence South 13000 feet to the North- west corner of that certain parcel conveyed to the City of Redlands by deed recorded in Hook 347 of Deeds, page 159, Records of said County; thence South along the Westerly boundary of said City of Redlands parcel, 90-00 feet ; thence continuing Southerly along said boundary and along a tangent curve concave Northwesterly with a. radius of 40.01 feet (recorded 47 01 fees;) through a central anSle of 38040121", a distance of 27001 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and distant 15.00 feet NortAerly, measured at right angles, from the South line of said Lot 29 ; thence North 89°59 °00" East along said last mentioned parallel line, 1077 feet to the West line of the East MOO feet of sand Lot 29, thence North along said last mentioned West line and its Northerly prolonga.taon and along said West line of the East 20.00 .feat of Lot 13, a distance of 248.00 Feet to the Point of Beginning. SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herern adopted by this City Council for vacation of the street described in Section 2, the City of Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent oasemen-t and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, re- place remora and renew sanitary sewers a:ud storm drains and appurtenant = i BOOK 6285 Pact 411 structures in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing franchises or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles, and other conveni- ent structures, equipment and Fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines, and for the distribution or transportation of electric energy, petroleum, and its products, ammonia, water and incidental purposea, including access and right to keep property free from inflamosable materials, and wood growth, and to otherwise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and over the street proposed to be vacated. SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the street described herein is required by public interest, con- venience, safety and welfare.
