A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS CHANGING THE NAME OF "CENTRAL
AVENUE, U. S. HIGLIWAY 99, OR "BEACON STREET" WITHIN THE CITY OF
REDLANDS TO "REDLANDS BOULEVARD".
? THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the portion of the highway known as "U.S. Highway 9911,
"Central Avenue" or 'Beacon Street", lying within the City of Redlands
is no longer designated a state or federal highw.4y- and has been accepted
by this City Council as a street of the city. .
SECTION TWO: That this street is a main thoroughfare of the City of Red-
lands and shall be renamed 'fRedlands Boulevard".
SECTION THREE: That all resolutions of the Ca.ty of Redlands which refer
to 11U. S. Highway 9911, "Central Avenue" or "Beacon Street", shall be amended
to change such street designations to "Redlands Boulevard".
SECTION FOUR: Be it further resolved that said street be posted and marked
accordingly.
ADOPTED}, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15 day of January, 1963.
