WH EN EN RECORDED MAIL 70 NO FEE v.DE*NN S WARDLECLC5 .- ,�:C'eyrrr CITY CLR \, CITY REDLA',vS, CALF- °217'1 1974 NOV 13 AM 9 07 RESOLUTION NO. 3152 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS ARE UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTIONS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and re- solves as follows : SECTION ONE : The City Council of the City of Redlands, having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that the portions of streets described in this reso- lution are unnecessary for present or prospective purposes and that the public interest and convenience require the closing of said portions of streets. SECTION TWO : The City Council hereby orders the vacation of por- tions of streets described as follows : That portion of State Street (80 feet wide) between the East right-of- way line of Second Street (now known as Eureka Street) (50 feet wide) to the West right-of-way line of Fourth Street (50 feet wide) and that portion of Third Street (50 feet wide) between the South right-of-way line of alley, said alley running East and West in Blocks 3 and 6, to the North right-of-way line of alley, said alley running East and West in Blocks 4 and 5, all in Town Plat of Redlands as recorded in Book 5 of Maps, Page 10 in the Office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California. SECTION THREE- The City Council hereby determines that the vaca- tion of portions of the streets described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
