A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS CONFIRMING
THE REPORT OF THE DIRECTOR OF BUILDING AND SAFETY, CONSIDERING kA
OBJECTIONS AND PROTESTS AND APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE STATEMENT
OF COSTS ia:;ah
WHEREAS , the Director of Building and Safety of the City of Redlands
has submitted to the City Council an itemized written report showing the
cost and expense for securing the dwelling herein described; and
WHEREAS , the Director of Building and Safety has notified the owner
of record of the property and the purported trustee of the property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly and regularly received and
considered said report and no objections have peen made thereto and the
City Council finding that said report should be approved and confirmed.
IT HEREBY BE RESOLVED that the cost thereof is hereby found to be
in the sum of $557 .50 and that the same should be assessed and collected
along with ordinary municipal taxes against the herein described real
property. That the cost thereof will constitute a lien upon such land
until paid and that the cost of such abatement will constitute a special
assessment which shall be added to the next regular tax bill levied
against the said parcel of land for municipal purposes and the amount of
the assessment shall be collected at the same time and in the manner of
ordinary municipal taxes; and if delinquent, the amount of the assess-
ment shall be subject to the same penalties and procedures of foreclosure
and sale provided for ordinary taxes; and
WHEREAS, the apparent record owner of said real property is Wayne
Burton; and that the said real property is located at 538 Jurupa Street,
Redlands, California, and more particularly described as follows -
Tract 7954 , Lot 9
Assessor ' s Parcel No. 167-753-10
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be
filed with the County Auditor, County Assessor, and the County Tax
Collector.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 15th day of February, 1983.
