RESOLUTION NO. 3632
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT PORTIONS OF A
CERTAIN STREET ARE UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET
PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and
resolves as follows:
SECTION ONE• The City Council of the City of Redlands , having
elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chap-
ter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds
from all evidence submitted that portions of a certain street des-
cribed in this resolution are unnecessary for present or prospec-
tive street purposes and that the public interest and convenience
require the closing of said portions of a certain street.
SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of
portions of Palm Avenue described in the attached "Exhibit A. "
SECTION THREE. The City Council hereby determines that the CO
vacation of portions of the street described herein is required by
public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of December, 1979.

Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 86 per Tract No. 9880
as recorded in Book 142 , Pages 33-36, records of the County of San
Bernardino,
Thence south 00°51 ' 46" east a distance of 90. 95 feet along the
westerly right-of-way of Ford Street to the beginning of a tangent
circular curve, said point being the true point of beginning,
Thence south 00°51 ' 46" east a distance of 18 . 21 feet to the
beginning of a tangent circular curve concave to the northwest and
having a radius of 13 . 00 feet,
Thence southwesterly along said curve a distance of 18 . 41 feet
subtending a central angle of 81°07 ' 53" to a point of reverse
curvature and the beginning of a tangent circular curve concave
to the south and having a radius of 356 73 feet,
Thence northwesterly and southwesterly along said curve a distance
of 69. 91 feet subtending a central angle of 11'13 ' 42" to a point
of reverse curvature and the beginning of a tangent circular curve
concave to the north and having a radius of 13 . 00 feet;
Thence southwesterly and northwesterly along said curve a distance
of 18. 94 feet subtending a central angle of 83°29 ' 24" to a point
of reverse curvature and the beginning of a tangent circular curve
concave to the southwest and having a radius of 155. 00 feet;
Thence northwesterly along said curve a distance of 16 84 feet
subtending a central angle of 6'13 ' 32" to a point of cusp, having CAD
a radial bearing of south 56°18 ' 17" west, being the beginning of
a tangent circular curve concave to the north, having a radius
of 13 00 feet and a radial bearing of north 56°18 ' 17" east,
Thence southeasterly along said curve a distance of 17 63 feet
subtending a central angle of 77°42 ' 55" , said curve being the
right-of-way return of Lot 86, to a point of reverse curvature
and the beginning of a tangent circular curve concave to the
south and having a radius of 374 73 feet,
Thence northeasterly and southeasterly along said curve a distance
of 79. 10 feet subtending a central angle of 12°05' 38" , said curve
being the northerly right-of-way of Palm Avenue, to a point of
reverse curvature and the beginning of a tangent circular curve
concave to the northwest and having a radius of 13 00 feet,
Thence northeasterly along said curve a distance of 18 . 50 feet
subtending a central angle of 81°32 ' 46" , said curve being the
right-of-way return of Lot 86, to the point of true beginning.
