(" EO0x 226 FAGF117, WHEN RECORDED MAIL TO• 766 RECORDED IN O{F'C1AL R=_CORDS City Clerk JUL 25 W977 AT 11 00 AM City of RedlandsAO FEE v DENNIS Post Office Box 280 E CLERK RECO i:,=R Redlands, California, 92373 SANBERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIF RESOLUTION NO. 3378 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN STREET ARE UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTIONS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS HEREBY ORDAINS AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS - SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands, having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that portions of a certain street des- cribed in this resolution are unnecessary for present or prospective purposes and that the public interest and convenience require the closing of said portions of a certain street. SECTION TWO- The City Council hereby orders the vacation of portions of La Salle Street described as follows : That portion of La Salle Street, 60 feet wide, as shown on Map of East" Redlands, as per map recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 47, records of San Bernardino County, des- cribed as follows . Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Citrus Avenue, as it now exists, with said centerline of La Salle Street; thence north 0° 40 ' 43" west, along said centerline of La Salle Street, a distance of 738 27 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing north 0° 40 ' 43" west, along said centerline of La Salle Street, a distance of 102 .81 feet to a point on the southerly line of the land described in Deed to the San Bernardino County Flood Con- trol District recorded May 10, 1971, in Book 7663, Page 548, Official Records of said County, said point being the beginning of a non-tangent curve, concave northerly having a radius of 5540 feet, a radial line through said point bears north 12° 22 ' 29" east, thence westerly along said southerly line through a central angle of 0° 19 ' 07", a distance of 30.81 feet to the westerly line of said La Salle Street; thence south 0° 40 ' 43" east, along said westerly line, a distance of 102 .76 feet to a point which bears north 77° 22 ' 52" west from the true point of begin- ning; thence south 77° 22 ' 52" east 30 .83 feet to the true point of beginning. SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Council for the vacation of portions of a certain street described in Section Two, the City of Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures, BOCK9226 FACE11?4 in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing franchises or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines, and for the distribution or transportation of electric energy, petroleum, and its products, ammonia, water and incidental purposes, including access and right to keep property free from inflammable materials, and wood growth, and to otherwise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and over the portion of the street proposed to be vacated. SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of portions of the street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare .
