FURNISH CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE HENRY TATE
SURFACE WATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT
This Amendment No. I to the Agreement with Black and Veatch to Furnish Construction Management
Services for the Henry Tate Surface Water Treatment Plant Project dated November 18, 2003 (the
"Agreement"),by and between the City of Redlands("City")and Black and Veatch("Consultant")is made and
entered into this 7th day of June, 2005.
RECITALS
WHEREAS,it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement for Construction
Management Services for the Henry Tate Surface Water Treatment Plant Project,dated November 18,2003 to
change the scope of services to be provided by Consultant;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Agreement for Construction Management Services for the Henry Tate
Surface Water Treatment Plant Project between City and Consultant is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. Attachment "A" of the Agreement is hereby amended and a new attachment to the
Agreement identifying the following additional services shall read as follows:
1. Additional Chlorine Injection Point $2,400
2. Emergency Standby Generator Plans and Bid $21,600
3. Gate Modification at Chlorine Dock $7,200
4. Sodium Hypochlorite Feasibility Evaluation $4,600
5. Supplemental Meeting Attendance $11,200
Total Additional Services: $47,000
Section 2. Attachment "C" of the Agreement is hereby amended and a new attachment to the
Agreement identifying the following additional engineering services shall read as follows:
I
Project Manager—20 hours
Project Engineer— 140 hours
Senior Engineer—50 hours
Staff Engineer— 80 hours
CAD Technician—60 hours
Administrative— 80 hours
Total Additional Hours: 430 hours
Section 3. Full Force and Effect. All other remaining sections of the Agreement remain in full force
and effect.
