A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT PORTIONS OF A
CERTAIN STREET ARE UNNECESSARY FOR PR.ESEN7 OR PROSPECTIVE STREET
PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTIONS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF cEDLANDS hereby ordains and
resolves as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of i:he City of Redlands, having
elected to proceed under the provision`s.of Division 9, Part 3, Chap-
ter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code`of the State of California,
and having held a public hearing as prpvided therein, hereby finds
from all evidence submitted that porti(_, s of a certain street des-
cribed in Exhibit A to this resolution a,-e unnecessary for present
or prospective purposes and that the public interest and convenience
require the closing of said portions of said street.
SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of
portions of the street described in Exhibit A attached hereto.
SECTION THREE: The City Council he=-eby determines that the

hereto is required by public interest, convenience, safety and
welfare.

EXHIBIT A TO RESOLUTION' NO. 3258
Legal Description for vacation of a portion of Henrietta Street in
the City of Redlands
That portion of Henrietta Street adjoining Block 7 as shown on
Revised Map of Blocks 10 and 11, Smith's Subdivision No. 3, and
Blocks 6 and 7 of Smith's Subdivision No. 4 in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 15 of Maps, Page 88 in the office of the County Recorder,
lying Southeasterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Henrietta Street
with the centerline of Pepper Way as shown on map of Tract No. 8040
recorded in Book 103 of Maps, Pages 16 and 17 in said County and
State; thence South 48"27'00" East along said centerline of Henrietta
Street, 28'.30 feet to an angle point therein; thence South 0012'00"
East along last said centerline, 330.88 feet to an angle point
therein; thence North 83047'22" West along said centerline of
Henrietta Street, 101.26 feet; thence South 601.2'38" West, 30.00
feet to a point on the Southerly right-of-way line of said Henrietta
Street, said point being the True Point of Beginning, said point
also being the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Southerly and
having a radius of 88.00 feet; thence Easterly along last said curve
through a central angle of 10°42'10", 16".44 feet to a point of
tangency; thence South 73005'12" East, 39.04 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave to the Northwest and having a radius
of 70.00 feet; thence Easterly -and Northerly along last said curve
through a central angle of 117°48'58", 143.94 feet to a point of
tangency; thence North 10°54'10" West, 39.04 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve, concave Easterly and having a radius of 86.00
feet; thence Northerly along last said curve through a central
angle of 10°42'10", 16.44 feet to a point of tangency with the
Easterly right-of-way line of said Henrietta Street.
