RESOLUTION NO. 3208 A RESOLUTION OF THE CI1 OF REDI< DS FINDING I AT A PORTION OF A CER- TAIN ALLEY IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and resolves as follows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands, having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted that a portion of a certain alley as described in this resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective purposes and that the public interest and convenience require the closing of said portion of said certain alley. SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion of a certain alley described as follows: Legal Description for Street Vacation #64 That portion of an alley between a line parallel elith and 5.00 feet East of the East right-of-way line of Sevel�.th Street (measured at right angles) and a line parallel with and 5.00 feet West of the West right- of-way line of Eighth Street (measured at right angles) as shown in Block 15 of Redlands Town Plat, recorded in Book 5 of Maps, Page 10, in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of a portion of an alley described herein is required by public interest, convenience., safety and welfare.
