HomeMy WebLinkAbout3205Recording requested by: F' CITY OF REDLANDSGIr 5 � VIX-741 RE ORPED FAIL TO CUY CLE'R::, CITY HALL DLANDS, CALF. 92373 RESOLUTION NO. 3205 RECORDED IN OFFICIAL RECORDS SEP 19 1971) AT 10 30 AX CLERI; FC0R'DER SAID E3ERNARDINO COIJ- NTY, CALIF., A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS'GRANTING A TWENTY-YEAR TIME EXTENSION, FROM SEPTEMBER 15, 1975 UNTIL SEP- TEMBER 15, 1995, FOR THE NON -CONFORMING USE KNOWN AS MARTINEZ MARKET AT 1035 CALHOUN STREET WHEREAS, said commercial use located within a residential district became non -conforming upon adoption of Zoning Ordinance No. 1000 on September 15, 1955; and WHEREAS, the amortization period provided for in Section 46.10 (a) of said Ordinance No. 1000 will expire on September 15, 1975; and WHEREAS, Section 46.10 (b) of said Ordinance No. 1000 provides that non -conforming uses may be,extended beyond the stated amorti- zation period provided that a petition is signed by residents within a 500--foot radius of said use, and the City Council after due hearing adopts a resolution granting an extension for a spe- cific length of time, with such conditions to protect the resi- dential areas adjacent as snail be deemed proper and necessary. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS HEREBY RESOLVES: SECTION 1. That after receipt of a petition and holding of a hearing on September 16, 1975, this Council grants a time ex- tension for said non -conforming use until September 15, 1995, i which said extension shall not be transferable and assignable to any successor in interest of the present non -conforming user. SECTION 2. That in addition to the conditions listed under Section 46.10 (c) , (d) , (e) , (f) , and (g) of Zoning Ordinance No. 1000, the following special conditions are attached to this extension: 1. All windows or doors to be blocked out shall be covered with material to match adjacent building surface, (i.e.) Plaster or wood siding. 2. Mansard roof along Calhoun Street to be re -roofed. 3. Building to be re -painted. 4. All non -conforming signs to be removed. Signing shall conform to C-1 District. 5. Fence along Brockton Avenue to be replaced. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder, together with a map and legal description attached thereto entitled Exhibit "A".
