A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF .THE CITY OF REDLANDS GRANTING
A THREE-YEAR TIME EXTENSION, FROM SEPTEMBER 15, 1975 UNTIL SEPTEM-
BER 15, 1978, FOR THE NON --CONFORMING USE KNOWN AS MASONRY CON-
TRACTOR'S STORAGE, BETWEEN 1104 AND 1112 OHIO STREET
WHEREAS, said commercial use located within a residential dis-
trict became non -conforming upon adoption of Zoning Ordinance No.
1000 on September 15, 1955; and
WHEREAS, the amortization period provided for in Section
46.10 (a) of said Ordinance No. 1000 will expire on September 15,
1975; and
WHEREAS, Section 46.10 (b) of said Ordinance No. 1000 provides
that non -conforming uses may be extended beyond the stated amortiza-
tion period provided that a petition is signed by residents within
a 500--foot radius of said use, and the City Council after due hear-
ing adopts a resolution granting an extension for a specific length
of time, With such conditions to protect the residential areas
adjacent as shall be deemed proper and necessary,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS HERE-
BY RESOLVES:
SECTION 1. That after receipt of a petition and holding of a
hearing on September 2, 1975, this Council grants a time extension for
said non --conforming use until September 15, 1978, which said exten-
sion shall not be transferable and assignable to any successor in
interest of the present non --conforming user.
SECTION 2. That in addition to the conditions listed under
Section 46.10 (c) , (d) , (e) , (f) and (g) of Zoning Ordinance No.
1000, the following special conditions are attached to this exten-
sion:
a. Solid screen fencing to be erected across front of
property at building setback lane. Gate to be screened
also. Existing ,•rire fence at public sidewalk to be
removed.
b. All weeds and trash to be removed.
c. Lot shall not be used by other contractors.
d. No signs permitted.
e. Maximum three-year extension recommended as requested.

SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause a copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder,
together with a map and legal description attached thereto entitled
Exhibit "A
