Box 3005 Redlands, CA 92373 RE.SOLUTION NO. 5000 RECORDED I'N OFFICIAL RECORDS 93 AUG -6 PM 12: 05 SAN BERNARDINO CO., CALIF, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DESIGNATING AN HISTORIC LANDMARK HISTORIC RESOURCE NO. 86 WHEREAS, Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code establishes rules and regulations governing the designation, preservation and perpetuation of historical and scenic properties; and WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has held a duly advertised public hearing to consider designating the following as a historic resource: Barton House 11245 Nevada Street Redlands, California WHEREAS, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission has nominated the above -mentioned property as a historic landmark in accordance with procedures established in Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands has held a duly advertised public hearing to consider the recommendation of the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows: 1. The following property is hereby designated as an historical landmark: Barton House 11245 Nevada Street Redlands, California LEGAL DESCRIPTION: See Exhibit 'A' attached. 2. This historical landmark shall not be altered on the exterior, moved, demolished, subdivided, or other wise permanently changed on the exterior until a Certificate of Appropriateness has been secured. 3. All provisions of Chapter 2.62 of the Redlands Municipal Code and any amendments thereto, are in effect now and in the perpetual future. 4. The City Clerk of the City of Redlands is hereby directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded with the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of August, 1993.
