(Amendment No. 14) This Task Order (Amendment No.14) authorizes the ENGINEER to performs Engineering Services included in, this .Amendment and in accordance with the AGREEME'.\'I' for the preparation of the eater Resources Management Plan, 6 November 1990. This Amendment makes the following changes to the AGREEMENT, all other provisions of the AGREEMENT remain in effect. ARTICLE 1 — ENGAGEMENT OF THE ENGINEER No changes. ARTICLE 2—SERVICES OF THE ENGINEER 2.1 The Scope of Work is amended to include Attachment A to d-.is Amendment which defines the scope of work for engineering services for Task Order 13, Edison Relicensing Support ARTICLE 3— RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OWNER No changes. ARTICLE 4—PERIOD OF SERVICE 4.1 The time period for performance of the ENGINEER'S services for Task Order 13 set forth in Article 2 shall be in accordance with the schedule defined in Attachment B to this Amendment. ARTICLE 5— PAYMENT TO THE ENGINEER 1 5.4 The total compensation to perform work under this Amendment for Task Order 13 shall be in accordance with Attachments C and D to d-ds Amendment. BLOOMQUIST, Mayor Office Manager ATTEST: City er , Cit 2 Task Order 13 Redlands Water Resources Management Plan Edison Relicensing and Impacts to Redlands Water Supply Attachment A Scope of Work Purpose The purpose of this task order is to support Redlands in monitoring the Edison activities regarding relicensing of hydropower facilities on Mill Creek and the Santa Ana River. The Edison facilities are integral to delivery of Mill Creek and Santa Ana River water to the City. Potential changes to the FERC license could affect, Redlands ability to receive and deliver these important water supplies. Scope Task 1. Evaluate Status and Impacts of Edison FERC Relicensing CH2M HILL staff will review the current status of Mill Creek Hydropower license applications to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) with staff of Edison and FERC. CH2M HILL will prepare a memorandum summarizing the current status, potential threats to City water supplies, and recommended activities for the City to support the Edison relicensing. CH2M HILL staff will present the memorandum at a meeting with City staff. Task 2. Identify Options to Mitigate Impacts on Redlands Water Supply CH2M HILL staff will develop conceptual alternatives for the City to maintain its water supply under potential changes to the Edison license. After discussions with City staff, CH2M HILL will develop preliminary layouts and estimates of costs for the alternatives. A brief technical memorandum summarizing City alternatives will be developed and presented to the City staff in a meeting. Task 3. Monitor Edison and FERC Activities CH2M HILL will periodically contact Edison and FERC to monitor the status of the licensing activities. A brief memorandum summarizing the contacts and providing recommendations for City action will be sent to the City. Task 4. Attend Meetings as Directed by City CH2M HILL will be available to attend meetings regarding the Edison relicensing activities and impacts on Redlands water supplies as directed by the City. Task Order 13 Redlands Water Resources Management Flan Edison Relicensing and Impacts to Redlands Water Supply Attachment B Schedule Work under this task order Initiates on February 1, 1997 and terrninates September 30, 1991 Task Order 13 Redlands Water Resources Management Plan Edison Relicensing and Impacts to Redlands Water Supply Attachment C Fee The fee for this task order is based on the hourly rates shown in Attachment D and Table C- 1. The fee will not exceed $34,200. The project is defined by the not-to-exceed fee limit. The City is not obligated to pay Consultant beyond the not-to-exceed fee. Consultant is not obligated to expend costs beyond the not-to-exceed fee limit.
