FOR COATING INSPECTION SERVICES FOR RESERVOIR RECOA"PING
AND IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
This first amendment(this"First Amendment")to the agreement for professional services for
conducting coating inspection services for the Reservoir Recoating and Improvements Project dated
March, 12,2009(the"Agreement") by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation
("City"),and CSI Services, Inc. ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 22"d day of June,2009.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Consultant hereby agree that the Agreement shall be
amended as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Section 5.1 of the Agreement,entitled Payments to Consultant, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"5 1 The total compensation for Consultant's performance ofthe Services shall not exceed
the amount of Forty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($45,235). City shall pay
Consultant on a time and materials basis up to the not to exceed amount, in accordance with Exhibit
"C"entitled"Project Costs,"and based upon the hourly rates shown in Exhibit'`D,"entitled"Rate
Schedule." Both Exhibits "C" and "D" are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference."
Section 2. Exhibits"B"and `C"of the Agreement are hereby amended to read as stated in
the revised forms of those exhibits which are attached hereto.
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties have executed this First Amendment,to be effective
as of June 22, 2009.

PROJECT SCHEDULE
The services shall be completed within one hundred twenty(120) calendar days from the date the
Notice to Proceed is issued by City,and CST estimates that eighty-three(83)days of inspection will
be required. The schedule for inspection will generally follow the construction schedule.

PROJECT COSTS
CSI shall complete the Services on a time and materials basis for a total amount of compensation not
to exceed Forty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($45,235).
