MANAGEMENT AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 2003 WATER
RECYCLING PROJECT
This Amendment No. I to the Agreement to Furnish Construction Management and Engineering
Services for the 2003 Water Recycling Project dated February 4,2003 (the"Agreement"),by and between the
City of Redlands("City")and Carollo Engineers("Consultant")is made and entered into this 17'h day of May,
2005.
RECITALS
WHEREAS,it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement for Construction
Management and Engineering Services for the 2003 Water Recycling Project, dated February 4, 2003 to
change the scope of services to be provided by Consultant;
NOW,THEREFORE,the Agreement for Construction Management and Engineering Services for the
2003 Water Recycling Project between City and Consultant is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. Attachment "A" of the Agreement is hereby amended and a new attachment to the
Agreement identifying the following additional services shall read as follows:
1. Value Engineering Services/Construction Cost Reduction: $22,500
2. Evaluation of Zenon Screening System: $21,020
3. Operational Assistance during Startup and Testing: $19,200
4. Project Management, November 2004 through February, 2005: $17,427
Total Additional Services: $80,147
Section 2. Attachment "C" of the Agreement is hereby amended and a new attachment to the
Agreement identifying the following additional engineering services shall read as follows:
Principal—Add 33 hours E/S VIII—Add 177.5 hours
E/S III—Add 16 hours ET I— Add 20 hours
E/S IV—Add 47 hours ET 11—Add 47 hours
E/S V—Add 23 hours ETVII—Add 13 hours
E/S VI—Add 138 hours ET VIII—Add 15 hours
E/S VII—Add 21 hours WP—Add 25 hours
Office Aide—Add 1.5 hours
Total Additional Hours: 577
Section 3. Full Force and Effect. All other remaining sections of the Agreement remain in full force
and effect.
