Subject: Revised agreement to provide Record Drawings for the completed renovation of
City of Redlands Fire Station No. 1.
Dear Ron:
With this letter we propose to modify our agreement of July 31, 2000. These proposed revisions are in
response to the City's request to provide Record Drawings for the project. This is an additional service as
outlined in the original contract. The proposed fee is based on:
1. Update of Construction Documents based on approved change orders which were issued by or made
known to CEDG such as the revised south wing.
2. Revisions to Construction Documents indicated on marked-up drawings supplied by the contractor
and subcontractors.
3. Delivery of 54 sheets of Record Drawings -(1) set of prints, (1) set of reproducible drawings and(2)
compact disc digital copies.
Note: This fee does not include minor changes to the drawings that are readily visible and verifiable in
the field, i.e. case-work or counter changes. Also, this fee does not include changes for which there is no
documentation such as the revised landscape.
Disclaimer: CEDG cannot attest to the accuracy or completeness of the marked-up drawings and
therefore the proposed fee is based only on use of provided marked-up drawings and approved change
orders and as such is a Record Set and not an As-Built document.
We propose to complete this Record Set by June 30th, 2003. We will provide this Record Set as
described above for the following fee:
Total fee for Record Documents 6,000.00
If this meets with the City's approval please provide the required signature below and return one copy of
this agreement extension.
