Subject: Mission Gables Sewer and Storm Drain Engineering Consultation
Dear Ron:
Pursuant to our discussion with Alan Griffiths, CEDG agrees to provide consultant services (with
ACEA Engineers) to do a survey of the existing conditions regarding sanitary sewer and storm drain
systems from 5'-0" outside the Mission Gables Bowl House to a Point of Connection to the public
systems. In addition, CEDG and its sub-consultants will complete the construction documents and
conduct construction administration for the Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drain systems from 5'-0"
outside the Mission Gables Bowl house to the public P.O.C.
These are additional services to our June 2001 contract. We understand from Alan that the scope of
work includes approximately 150' of 4" sewer line and one new manhole and cleanout, and
approximately 600' of 6-8" storm drain to an existing catch basin with one new cleanout. Based on
this information, we are pleased to provide Engineering services for this portion of the adaptive re-use
and restoration of the historic Mission Gables boarding house for time and expenses not to exceed:
Time and Expenses Not to Exceed $ 5,500.00
CEDG and its sub-consultants can begin survey and design work immediately upon your
