PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES
This first amendment (this "First Amendment") to the agreement to provide professional
consulting services dated October 7,2008(the"Agreement"),by and between the City of Redlands,
a municipal corporation("City"), and Colgan Consulting Corporation("Consultant"), is made and
entered into this 6`I`day of January, 2009.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement to
change the Scope of Services to be provided by Consultant to include performing an update of City's
development impact fees for Police, Fire Protection, General Government, Libraries, Parks and
Storm Drainage; and
WHEREAS, Consultant proposes to perform the expanded services on a time and expense
basis, for a total cost not to exceed $26,500;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, City and
Consultant agree as follows:
SECTION ONE. Section 3.1 of the Agreement, entitled "Payment and Notice," is hereby
amended to read as follows:
AGREEMENT
"3.1 The total compensation for Consultant's performance of the Services shall not exceed
the amount of$56,010."
SECTION TWO. The Scope of Services to be performed by Consultant pursuant to the
Agreement and this first Amendment shall be expanded to include these services described in
Exhibit"A"attached hereto.
SECTION THREE. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and
effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties have executed this First Amendment,to be effective as
of the date first written above.
