FOR STAFF SERVICES,
This agreement is entered into this 14 day
of 1974, by and between the City of Redlands,
Caliicarnia/ hereinafter referred to as the "City" , and
Don ft. Harrawood, a private consultant, hereinafter referred
to as "Harrawood."
WHEREAS, Harrawood is a private consultant with
substantial experience in the fields of electronics and
electrical applications, and
WHEREAS, the city, because of its many electronic
and electric devices and equipment, has a continuing require-
ment for on-call consultant services in the fields of
electronics and electrical applications, and
WHEREAS, Harrawood is desirous of offering the
city consultant services in these fields, and
WHEREAS, the city wishes to avail itself of
Harrawood' s consultant service,
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto mutually agree
as follows:
1. Scope of Service:
a. Harrawood agrees to provide advice and
guidance to the city of Redlands in the
area of electronic and electrical
applications. Advice and guidance will
be limited to conferring with city
officials and employees designated by
the City Manager. No manual or clerical
type work will be provided by Harrawood.
b. Harrawood shall be available for advice
not to exceed a total of fifty-two (52)
hours per calendar quarter.
C. Transportation. Harrawood will be
reimbursed at the customary city rates
for the use of his privately owned
vehicle on city business. Harrawood will
provide, at his expense, evidence of
automobile liability and property damage
insurance coverage in amounts required
of other city employees being reimbursed
for use of their privately owned vehicle
on city business.
d. Other Expenses. Harrawood will be
reimbursed by the city for any travel,
meals, or lodging expense incurred while
on city business outside of Redlands, as
authorized by the City Manager.
2. Payment:
The city will pay to Harrawood for consultant
service as specified above, the sum of one
Hundred Seventy Five Dollars ($175.00) monthly.
Payment will be made on the 10th of the
following month for consultant service rendered
on the preceding month. Payment will be made
by the city without the requirement of billing
by the consultant. Requests for reimbursement
for travel and mileage expenses will be made
by the consultant on the authorized voucher
forms. The City Manager is the approving
authority for such reimbursement vouchers.
3. Term:
This agreement commences on" ",__ 1974.

4. Termination:
This agreement may be terminated by either
party giving the other thirty (30) days
written notice of termination.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the City and Harrawood have
executed this Agreement as of , 1974.
