This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for pavement analysis and
rehabilitation recommendation services project dated July 2,2013(the"Agreement")by and between
the City of Redlands,a municipal corporation("City"),and Dynatest Consulting Inc.("Consultant"),
is made and entered into this 18"day of March, 2014.
RECITALS
WHEREAS,it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend Exhibit"B"to the Agreement
for the provision of additional services by Consultant and to correspondingly increase Consultant's
compensation for the same. City and Consultant hereby agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Article 5,entitled"PAYMENTS TO CONSULTANT,"is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"5.1 The total compensation for Consultant's performance of the Services shall be in the amount
not to exceed Three Hundred Seventy Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Five Dollars
($378,845.00)and shall be paid on a time and materials basis based upon the rates shown in
Exhibit"B"entitled Project Cost."
Section 2.Exhibit"B"to the Agreement is hereby amended to include adding$170,000 for
additional data collection,in place of adding$50,000.00, and shall read as follows:

*Additional lane sections can be added at an estimated cost per lane mile of S 1,698 excluding Tasks 1,7,and 8.
**If City performs the analysis in house,Consultant will collect FWD data and cores as an estimated cost per lane
mile of$772 excluding Tasks 1,3,4,51 6,7.and 8.
These estimates assume that the streets are residential streets and the total length is 75 lane miles.Any significant
variation from these assumptions might affect the estimates.
Ci",has elected to add 25 lane miles to this agreement for an additional$42,450.00(S 1,698 X 25 lane miles).

Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties have executed this First Amendment,to be effective as
of March 18,2014.
