It is again that time of the year when it is our privilege to express
to you owr appreciation of the fine cooperation and support given our
Health Department people who have served your city by contract during
the present fiscal year, and to again submit Agreements covering the
next twelve months for similar services,
E�y way of a brief reminder., the County Health Department has I'ubl.ic
Health Nurses and Sanitarian.s who give direct service to the people
in your community, enforcing your Local ordinances where applicable
and otherwise rendering service in accordance with. accepted standards
and State laws and regulations.
Your local citizens and physicians are routing water, milk and other
specimens to our Laboratory in ever increasing numbers for analysis
Your babies and preschool children are being cared for ..here indicated
in our Child Health Clinics® The communicable disease problems as they
arise are being met, A constant effort is put forth to reduce the
number through education, immunization and other preventive measures
Your Vital Records for your citizens are being capably collected,
tabulated., recorded and copies furnished on request®
Or Health Educator., Rabies Control. and Vector Control officials are
available to give consultation and to assist on problems in their
respective fields when they arise in your City.
We have been authorized by the Hoard of Supervisors to submit agree-
ments in the same amounts as are now in effect, We trust that our
services have been found s tisfactory and that you will want to
City Council.

corporate and politic of the State of California, hereinafter r -
(erred to as COUNTY, and the CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal coor -
i ion, hereinafter refer red to as CITY,
WITNESSE
1t is mutually understood and agreed that both parties
are desirous roux of securing uniform enforcement of all lawa and rdln-
emcee pertaining to the public health and sanitation within the
incorporated area of the City of Redlands and ,,quninoorporated
area immediately adjacent thereto and that the Health Department
of the County of San Bernardino is equipped to render such service.

That during the time this contract shall remain in
ffeet the County Health Officer and hic deputies shall exercise
e same powers and duties in the City Of Redlands as are conferred
n health officers thereof by law.
4.
That while engaged in the performance of their duties
and functions pursuant to this Agreement, the County Health Officer,
his deputies and employees shall ba deemed to be County officers
and employees and not City officers and employees of the City of
(Redlands.
5.
That for the performance of the services and functions
Therein provided for City agrees to pay to Gounty the total sum of
1 , 500.00, payable 41,250,00 on December 15th, 1955, and $1, 250.00
