3- Starter shall be equipped with type EJ-2 current Limiting

4o Starter shall be equipped with a three pole, gang operated
disconnect snitch with external operating handle.
5. Three pole air break contactor shall be of the roll -out
type to allow complete servicing from the front. Both
sides and back will be inaccessable.
6. Starter shall be interlocked so that manually operated
high voltage disconnect switch must be open before the
doors to any high voltage compartment can ba, opened.
The interlock shall also prevent the closing of the
disconnect unless all high voltage compartment doors
are closed. Electrical interlocks .shall also be pro-
vided to open the contactor control, circuit upon opening
any high voltage compartment door.
7- Contactor control circuit shall. be 1-15 volt D.C. arranged
for two wire remote control. The starter shall contain
its own provision for obtaining 115 volt D.C. from the
primary 2300 volt A.C.
8o Starter shall be equipped with two E?djustab.e thermal
overload protection devices.
9. A separate compartment shall be provided fo:� low voltage
components,
10. A 0-100 AMP ammeter shall be installed with a three
position selector switch for reading current load on all
three legs.
11. Outside dimensions of starter shall not exceed 38" wide x
90" high x 30" deep.
