The parties to this agreement, dated the_ day of,o
19,,oCZ, are the City of Redlands, hereinafter called "City" and the California
Water & Telephone Company, hereinafter called "Company".
In consideration for the grant by the City of Drainage Easement No. 48-499,
the Company agrees as follows:
1. To remove the cast iron soil pipe located in the southerly
three feet of the City of Redlands parking lot adjacent to
the Company's building, when the City's future construction
and building requirements make such removal necessary. The
Company's building is located on Lot 1 and the easterly
extension thereof, Park Addition, in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per plat
recorded in Book 15 of Maps, Page 61, records of said County.
2. In Lieu of rental charges and loss to the City of parking
meter revenues due to the use of the City's parking lot
property by the Company during the construction of its build-
ing at 11 Orange Street on the above described Lot 1, the
company agrees to install, at its expense, a concrete sidewalk
6 feet wide and approximately 176 feet long on the most
southerly portion of the City's property, from Orange Street
to the alley west, and adjacent to the Company's building
on the above described Lot 1, after the completion of said
building.
