A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS DETERMINING OUTSIDE CITY CASE (OSC) 19-52 IS
CONSISTENT WITH THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN AND THE
PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, WELFARE AND BEST INTERESTS OF
THE CITIZENS OF REDLANDS ARE SERVED BY THE
CONTINUED PROCESSING OF OSC 19-52
WHEREAS, Dangermond Park Foundation has filed an application for an
Outside City Case (OSC) No. 19-52 with the City of Redlands for one water
connections for the development of open space/park located at APNs: 299-301-01-
0000, 299-301-03-0000, 299-301-06-0000, 299-301-07-0000, 299-301-09-0000, 299-
301-10-0000, 299-301-11-0000 and 299-301-12-0000 in the unincorporated community
of Mentone; and
WHEREAS, Dangermond Park Foundation has concurrently applied for a pre -
annexation agreement with the Development Services Department and deposited fees
necessary for City to make application to the Local Agency Formation Commission
(LAFCO) on their behalf,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby determines that OSC 19-52 is consistent
with the City of Redlands General Plan and the public health, safety, welfare and best
interests of the citizens of Redlands are served by the City's continued processing of the
application.
Section 2. The City Council hereby directs staff to prepare pre -annexation
agreements for APNs: 299-301-01-0000, 299-301-03-0000, 299-301-06-0000, 299-
301-07-0000, 299-301-09-0000, 299-301-10-0000, 299-301-11-0000 and 299-301-
12-0000.
Section 3. The City Council hereby determines that approval of this
Resolution is exempt from review under California Environmental Quality Act
("CEQA') pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15304(c) as CEQA exempts the new
construction of small structures.
