hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor".
WaTIMSSETH- That the, City and the Contractor., for and in consideration
hereinafter named, agree as folla-v;s:
1. SCOPE OP WORK: The Contractor will furnish all equipmen-IL and labor
necessary to perfonii the demolition., removal., and disposal of all structures and
improvements as generally described below:
(a) The Inman Building located at 712 Uest Citrus Avenue in the
City of Redlands, and
(b) The Robin Hood Building located at 17 West Citrus Avenue in
the City of Redlands.
Further, her., -the G ontractor gill provide for clearing the premises of all debris
resulting from -the demolition and removal and uill leave the site Oree of all
projecting pipe5,, post-s3 braces, and similar devices; including removal of any
and all concrete floor slabs.
2. TIME Or, 0011PTEFTION: The Contractor shall complete 'the demolition and
clearing within sixty (60) days subsequent 'to the daU-e cif llk-,his contract.
3. TIE CONTRIkOT SU2,1: The City iiili pay the Contractor in current funds the

.insurance for all of his employees to be engaged in vork on the projec-t undor the

The Contractor shall be responsible for the insurance coverage, as herein provided,
of any and all subcontractors.
The Contractor shall furnish to the City certificates, issued by companies
satisfactory to the City, showing that all of the above mentioned insurance has been
issued, the premiums paid, and that the policies are in full force and effect, prior
to commencing work on such project. Said insurance shall contain a clause providing
written notice by Registered or Certified Mail to the City ten (10) days prior to
cancellation of or material change in said insurance.
Further, the Contractor shall save harmless from any and all liability involved
in the demolition and removal of said structures and improvements the City, its
officers, and its agents.
,. BOND rREWUIREIENTS: The Contractor shall be required to post a surety bond
in the amount of the contract sum within ten (10) days of the contract date to
insure that the structures and improvements will be demolished and removed within
the specified time limit.
6. F1':1,XdCIAL. 00.1N?DITION- The Contractor shall furnish a recent statement of
his financial condition and previous demolition experience or such other evidence
of his qualifications, as may be required by the Director of Public Works.
IN WITNESS WEEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement the day
and year first above written.
