AMEEMEHT,
3 In consideration of the Sale and grant and conveyance
4 to the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation,of that
5 certain Water Right, commonly known as Two Hours of the Flow
6 of the Waters of b]II,D CREEK ZANJA, wherein the City of
7 Redlands, has paid the cash sum of $2,0OO.00 and has agreed
to execute the within Agreement to pay the agreed balance
in the amount of $109000.00 in installments, plus interest
10 thereon from May 1, 1959, the undersigned CITY OF RED kNDS,
11 a municipal corporation, does hereby promise and agree to
--_- pay to G,, E. CMTIS and EVA A. CURTIS, husband and wife, AS
13 JOTNT TENANTS, the sum of TEN THOUSAND ($10,000.00) with
14 interest from May lst, 1959 on unpaid principal at the rate
15 of Six per eenj per annum, payable annually on May let;
principal payable in installments of $2,500.00 on the let
17 day of May, 1960, and continuing on the Ist day of Mar of 1961,
18 1962 and 1963.
19 IN WITNESS WHM071, the CITY OP REDLkNDS , has caused its
20 corporate name and seal to be hereunto affixed by its duly
21 authorized officers, this 20th, day of July, 1959•
