THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this loth day of August, 1959,
by and between PLYMOUTH VILLAGE, a corporation organized pursuant to the
Laws of the State of California, and the CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal
corporation.
WHEREAS,�PLYMOUTH VILLAGE is a proposed community of homes, located
in a park and cultural atmosphere in the City of Redlands, where retired
missionaries, ministers, and other Christian workers may reside near
central facilities for dining, health, recreation and administration; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of PLYMOUTH VILLAGE desires to reim-
burse the CITY OF REDLANDS for the cost of municipal services provided to
PLYMOUTH VILLAGE and its people;
BE IT HEREBY AGREED by the Board of Directors of PLYMOUTH VILLAGE and
the Council of the CITY OF REDLANDS, for and in consideration of the mutual
promises stated hereinafter, as follows:
1. That the CITY OF REDLANDS shall provide certain necessary services
to PLYMOUTH VILLAGE, excepting street sweeping and repair, and care of
parkway trees, which PLYMOUTH VILLAGE agrees to provide at its own expense.
20 That PLYMOUTH VILLAGE, for each person residing within the settle-
ment, shall pay the City, by September 1 of each year, an amount equivalent
to Eighty-five per cent ( 85 %) of the average ad valorem
tax per capita upon property owners in the CITY OF REDLANDS for the prior
fiscal year,
3. That the annual payment by PLYMOUTH VILLAGE to the CITY OF
REDLANDS shall be determined for each fiscal year by the following methods
Eighty -Five
per cent ( 85 %) of the total ad valorem
tax received, prior year, divided by the population (last official census),

multiplied by number of residents of Village (average of December 31 and
June 30, prior year), equals amount due by September 10
