(Date)
SUBJECT: Amendment to Agreement for Engineering Services
Utility Relocations for Tennessee Freeway
SUBMITTED BY: Name John A. Donnelly
Dept. Public Works
EXPLANATION:
The City of Redlands entered into an agreement dated March 6 , 1979
with J. M. Montgomery, Consulting Engineers for the purpose of
having the firm prepare plans and specifications for the utility
relocation work resulting from the construction of the Tennessee
Freeway. An amendment is required because of changes in
engineering services resulting from State highway requirements
not anticipated and because of salary increases of the firm' s
staff. It was anticipated that the project was to be completed
by September 1 , 1979. The State is to reimburse the City for
consulting engineering services required to' accomplish the
relocation work.
It is recommended that Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk
to ecute the Amendment to the Agreement .
