Thct pursuant to the provisions of Division 1, pyre 2, Chapter" $, Article 2A of the Health and Safety Code of the :State of Cal i i�orniex, ;oa nry- a reez to perform by and through the bounty Health Officer and other empLoyees of the County, all functions reEatin to thG unf'or^ce- ment in toe City of Redlands of all ordinances thereof relating to public health and sanitation, except ordinances pertaining to the con - trot of rabies, an.d the making of all inspections and the performance of call functions in connection therewith, and City agrees to accept such services and to pay for the same as hereinafter provided. 2. That while engaged in the performance of their duties and functions pursuc*nt to this agreement, -the County Health Off -Geer, his deputies and employees sh�fll be deemed to be County Officers and cm-- ployees and not City officers rind employees of the City of Redlands. 5. That for the performance of the services and functions herein provided for, City agrees to pay to County the total sum of $3, 650.00, payable $9, 825.00 on December 15, 1,96T, and $7, 325.0 1 on June 7 st, 1962, and that said compensation is deemed to be sufficient in amount to repay the County for the entire cost to it of the services to be per- formed for City and required in the enforcement of ordinances of the City of Redlands under the terms thereof. 'I On motion of Councilman Burroughs, seconded by Council-nan Wilson, the City Council voted ;•��^'� , c� Transfer of Ecollection to transfer all health administration and enfo'rce_ment operations, including the collection health perndt fees to County of health permit fees, to the San Bernardino County Health Department for administration, with Lh e provision that the local supervisor be approved by the City Council and housed in 1I the new County Building. Effective date, July 1, 1962. CITY "Ai�TAOER A report on the Legal and Capital deserve as prepared by Director John Jones of the Depart- E ment of Public ',forks was submitted to the Council members by the City Manager. In essence, it i the report stated: "The Legal and Capital Reserve Fund now has 3"400,000.00 accumulated. 3— IT: Legal and Discussion with City Attorney Taylor directs my attention to the use of a large portion of Capital Reserve this fund since he feels that reducing this fund to a minimum of $100,000.00 will E report sufficiently meet any presently anticipated legal expenditure. As the Legal and Capital Reserve will have accumulated slightly in excess of the estimated �337,000.00 by June, 1962 1. it appears that the release of this money for these capital improvements answers the question at present of additional monies for this program."
