THIS AGRE&_Ea,T, made and entered into this 20th day of
September, !962, by and betvieen the CITY (.)F REDLI-128, California, a
municipal corl,,orat-ion, hereinafter referred to as "City" and
Cm j. O'Gorman', hereinafter called "Owner".

The Owner states he ovans certain real property loca�Ied at
711 Brookside ti.veniae, in the City of Redlands, said real nrc,�erty being;
described as follows- Lot 1, Tract '). 1 3756, Brcoh3ide Slabdivis_!p:)n in the
City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California as per
plat recorded in Book 48 of 11,1a_os, pa,.,-e 8q, Records of said County.
S-id property shall be hereinafter referred to as "premises".

The City hereby consents to .the -exe.c.t.-Jon and construction of
a twenty (20) unit apartment on the Oviner's premises, but only on the
express condition and covenant of the Ojvner that he will probect his
side -,,vindoTs or door of-.enin,is on the east and west propertj lines of
the pread-ses, by installing a one -hour fire assembly, as required in the

Uniform Building Code-, that Oviner, shall make such installation if a-nd
when any two-story structures are built on the lands abutting the east
or viest property lines of the premises.

The 0,,,ner hereby enters into a covenant running with the land

Owner hereby exoressly enters into a covenant running with the land and

re(juired in the Uniform Building Code then in effect in the City of
it e ,diands, if and vihen any tvio-stuory structures are built on the land
abutting the east or west property lines of the premises.

The above covenant in each and every particular is hereby
declared to run with the land and shall be construed as a real covenant
running with the land and the said Owner, his heirs, assigns, grantees
and successors in interest hereby agree to observe and keep this covenant.
