THIS AGREEMENT by and between the City of Redlands, California,
herein referred to as "City" and Mrs . Jean Weber, also referred
to as "Consultant" is dated this 18th day of August, 1983.
For and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein,
the City agrees as follows :
1. To engage the Consultant under contract with the City as
Director of the Joslyn Senior Center to formulate and con-
duct a comprehensive senior program which will include
recreational, educational, cultural and social services.
2 . To compensate Consultant for such service at the rate of
$1, 375 per month, payable $687 . 50 semi-monthly. It is
anticipated that work load may vary and Consultant agrees
to work the hours necessary to accomplish the contracted
services.
3. To compensate Consultant at the rate of $150 per month for
transportation expenses in lieu of the use of a city vehicle.
For and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein,
the Consultant agrees as follows:
A. To diligently and promptly perform services as Director of
the Joslyn Senior Center.
B. To be compensated for services as enumerated above.
The parties hereto agree that this Agreement will begin on August 18 ,
1983, retroactive to July 4, 1983. Further, employment may be
terminated by either party upon giving thirty (30) days notice, in
writing, or any time by mutual agreement of the parties in writing.
