ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW FOR A PRIVATE PROJECT
This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement dated the 18th day of
December 2018 ("the Agreement") by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation
("City") and 1600 Orange, LLC a limited liability corporation ("Consultant"), is made and entered
into this 21st day of June, 2019
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend Section 1 Funding
Obligation of their existing Agreement to increase the total compensation payable to Consultant
by the amount of eleven thousand nine hundred sixty eight dollars ($11,968),
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the City
of Redlands and 1600 Orange, LLC agree as follows
AGREEMENT
Section 1 Funding Obligation of the Agreement, entitled "AGREEMENT" is hereby
amended to read as follows
"Section 1 Funding Obligation Within ten (10) days of the date of written request of
City, Applicant shall deposit the additional sum of seventy seven thousand forty one dollars eighty
cents ($77,041 80) dollars (the "Deposit") with City to engage a professional consultant who will
commence work on the Environmental Documents The present additional cost of the
Environmental documents is estimated to be an additional seventy thousand thirty eight dollars
($70,038) and the contract administration fee is set at seven thousand three dollars righty cents
($7,003 80) Applicant acknowledges that Applicant is obligated by this Agreement to pay to City
the full, actual cost for the preparation of the Environmental Documents, as deemed reasonable or
necessary by City, to ensure the legal sufficiency of the Environmental Documents, The
Additional Deposit will be applied towards the actual total cost of the Environmental Documents,
Applicant shall thereafter make payments to City for the balance of City's cost for preparation of
the Environmental Documents within ten (10) days of the date City submits written invoices to
Applicant "
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties involved have executed this First Amendment to
be effective as of June 21, 2019
