THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1st day of January,
1965, by Matich Corporation and the City of Redlands, a municipal
corporation, for the purpose of supplying plant -mixed paving materials,
screenings, asphaltic emulsion for seal coat, liquid asphalts, and
equipment rental for the period from January 1, 1965 to January 1, 1966.
item 1. For furnishing 6,000 tons more or less of dense graded
plant -mixed asphaltic paving material, which shall meet
the specifications of Section 39 of the Standard Speci-
fications of the State of California, dated July, 1964.
(a) F.O.B. our Redlands plant to the City of
Redlands trucks . . . . . . . . . . . . $4.00 per ton
(b) F.O.B. jobs within the corporate limits of
the City of Redlands, California . . . $5.00 per ton
Item 2. 4,000 tons, more or less, of open graded plant -
mixed asphaltic paving material, which shall
meet the specifications of Section 39-2.06 of the
afore said Standard Specifications.
(a) F.O.B. our Redlands plant to the City of
Redlands, trucks . . . . . . . . . . . $5.00 per ton
(b) F.O.B. jobs within the corporate limits of
the City of Redlands, California . . . $6.00 per ton
Itein 3. 200 tons, more or less, of rock screenings, which
will meet the specifications for finetype seal coat
of Section 37 of the aforesaid Standard Specifications.
(a) F.O.B. jobs within -the corporate limits of the
City of Redlands, California . . . . . . $5.00 per ton
Item 4. 5,000 gallons, more or less, of asphaltic emulsion
which shall meet the specifications for high
viscosity emulsion of Section 94 of the aforesaid
Standard Specifications.

the City of Redlands, California . . . $0.20 per gallc

Item. 5. 5,000 gallons, more or less, of liquid asphalts, to
meet specifications of Section 93 of Standard Speci-
fications.

Item 6. For furnishing the following equipment, fully
operated and maintained, including transportation,
to and from the job.
(a) Barber -Greene finishing machine . . $32.00 per hour
(b) Asphaltic Emulsion Distributor Equipment,
minimum 400 gallons capacity . . . . $16.00 per hour
(c) Tandem Roller, five to eight ton . . $16.00 per hour
(d) Pneumatic -Tared Roller . . . . . . . $16.00 per hour
The price per gallon quoted under Item No. 4 above includes all costs
in ordering material, and also includes the cost of the distributor
truck and any overtime in excess of the two hours spreading time which
is normal for this operation.
For the application of penetration type emulsion for use as a tack
coat for plant -mixed surfacing, we have submitted an hourly rental
rate for the distributor truck. A charge of $0.14 per gallon will
be made for the penetration type emulsion used as tack coat for
plant. -mixed surfacing.
