THIS AGREEMINT, made and entered into this Lt. day of January, 1961 by
Matich Corporation and the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation for the
purpose of supplying plant-mi- a paving materials, screenings, asphaltic emulsion
for seal coat, and equipment rental for the period from January 1, 1961 to
January 1, 1962 apon the following terms and conditions
Item 1. ,'or furnishing 5,000 tons more or less of dense graded
plantkrod asphaltic paving material, which shall meet
the specifications of Section 39 of the Standard Speci-
fications of the .)-tat e of California dated January 1, 1960.

Item 3. 500 tons, more or less, or rock screenings, which will moot
the specifications for fine-type seal cost of Section 37 of
aforesaid Standard Specifications.

Item L . 10,000 gallons, more or less, or asphaltic emalsion: which
shall meet the specifications or high viscosity emulsion
of Section 94 of the aforesaid Standard 21-Jecifications.

Item 5. For furnishing the fallowing equitment, fully oprated and
maintained, including transportation to and from the job.

The price per ton quoted wader Item 4 above includes all costs in ordering
material, and also includes the cost of the distributor truck and any overtime
in excess or the two hours spreading time le .ch is normal for this operation.
For the application of penetration type emulsion for ease as a tack coat for
pant-mixed surfacing, we have submitted an hourly rental rate for the distribution
truck, A charge of 0.12 per gallon mill be made for the penetration type emulsion
used as tack coat for plant- siiwea suufaal ag.

Gentlemen:
In accord with your invitation for bids, dated the sixth day of December, 1960,
we are pleasedto submit for your consideration the following bid:
ITEM NO. 1 For furnishing 5,000 tons more or less of dense graded
plant-mixed asphaltic paving material, which shall meet
the specifications of Section 39 of the Standard Speci-
fications of the State of California, dated January 1960.
(a) F.O.B. our Redlands plant to the City of Redlands

(b) F.O.B. jobs within the corporate limits of the

ITEM NO. 2 4,000 tons, more or less, of open graded plant-mixed
asphaltic paving material, which shall meet the specifi-
cations of Section 39-2.06 of the aforesaid Standard
Specifications.

(b) F.O.B. jobs within the corporate limits of the City

ITEM NO. 3 500 tons, more or less, of rock screenings, which will meet
the specifications for fine-type seal coat of Section 37 of
the aforesaid Standard Specifications.

of Section 94 of the aforesaid Standard Specifications.

maintained, including transportation to and from the job.

mixed surfacing, we have submitted an hourly rental rate for the distributor truck.
A charge of $0.12 per gallon will be made for the penetration type emulsion used
as tack coat for plant-mixed surfacing.
