HomeMy WebLinkAboutContracts & Agreements_11-1965AVIATION CONSULTANT RETAINER AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 1st day of April, 1965, by and between CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA hereinafter referred to as Airport Owner, and H. K. FRIEDLAND, of Post Office Box 1001, Escondido, California, hereinafter referred to as Consultant. The parties hereto agree as follows: 1. Consultant will render services to the Airport Owner during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965. Services rendered will be in connection with the REDLANDS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA. 2. Basic work shall consist of a general aviation consulting service and will include one full day's visit to the airport, inspection of all facilities and review of maintenance and operating problems. Consultant shall furnish written recommendations concerning necessary maintenance work and shall indicate the priority of the various items. The Consultant will answer telephone questions as required by the staff of the Airport Owner and will also answer a reasonable number of written requests for information and advice. Consultant will maintain liaison with the United States Federal Aviation Agency and will attend meetings of other agencies and groups which, in his opinion, will assist the interest of the Airport Owner. Consultant will keep the Airport Owner informed of any action that should be taken. 3. Consultant agrees to make his services available for additional work beyond the scope of this Agreement, as requested by the Airport Owner, at fees to be mutually agreed upon in advance. 4. The basic retainer fee shall be $300. of which $150. will be due and payable upon submission of the written recommendations and $150. due and payable at the end of the fiscal year. Fee for period April 1, 1965 to June 30, 1965 shall be $187.50, payable upon submission of the written recommendations. 5. This Agreement shall automatically be renewed for successive fiscal years unless either party gives written notice of intent to discontinue at least 15 days prior to beginning a new term.
