WHEREAS Redlands Community Hospital, a California
corporation, is the owner of the parcel of real property in the
City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California,
described as follows:
All that portion in the Southwest 1/4, Section
33, Township I South, Range 3 West, San Bernar-
dino Base and Meridian, in the city of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California,
and described in whole as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of
Fern Avenue and Terracina Boulevard; thence
South 560 17' West, 3.09 feet; thence South 250
03' 45" East, 10.94 feet; thence South 340 38'
West, 250.01 feet; thence South 460 06' West,
99.58 feet; thence South S90 12' West, 118.80
feet; thence North 800 39' 30" West, 165.45
feet; thence North 620 59' 20" West, 70.10 feet;
thence South 810 23' 50" West, 88.10 feet; thence
North 840 33' 10" West, 73.54 feet; thence South
620 02' 20" West, 149.10 feet; thence South 51'
06' West, 169.07 feet; to an angle point in
Brookside Road and the true point of beginning.
Beginning at the said angle point in the center-
line of Brookside Road, thence South 33' 36' West,
40.00 feet; thence North 260 14' West, 100.00 feet;
thence North 510 07' East, 60.00 feet; thence
South 290 45' 08" East, 86.63 feet; thence South
510 07' West, 30.00 feet to the angle point in
Brookside Road and the true point of beginning.
Said real property is referred to herein as "premises".
NOW THEREFORE, for a valuable consideration, said Redlands
community Hospital does hereby grant unto The City of Redlands,
a municipal corporation, an easement to enter upon said premises
and thereon to drill a well for water and to install the necessary
pipes, pumps and equipment for the purpose of taking water from
said well, reserving and excepting to said Redlands Community
Hos,pl.iltal.its overlying water rights to the portion of water pro-
duced from said premises for reasonable, beneficial use for hospital
purposes, appointing said City agent for said Redlands Community
Hospital to produce such water on its behalf; and hereby vesting
in said City title to the water so pumped from said well in excess
of the amounts needed for hospital purposes, granting to said City
the right at all times to enter upon said premises for the purpose
of maintaining, repairing and replacing all equipment, pipes and
pumps upon or in said well and premises including the right to
drill an additional well or wells and to equip and maintain the
same.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF said Redlands Community Hospital has
