Loan of Law Books to Redlands Justice Court.
As of this date T have authorized the loan of one
set of Deering's California Codes Annotated, to
the Redlands Justice Court for the following
reason:
The Attorney's office presently has two sets of
California Codes, one owned by the City of some
years of age and one owned by the firm of Taylor
and Smith of 1965 vintage.
The City will retain the use of the recent edition
as long as the firm of Taylor and Smith is employed
by the City.
The Justice Court of Redlands has no California
Codes for its use which, of course, creates a
serious drawback for the Judge. As the City has
no use for the older set it has been loaned to the
Justice Court on my approval.

This will acknowledge receipt of one set of
Deering's California Codes Annotated, by the
Redlands Judicial District Court, from the
City of Redlands.
Upon demand the said codes will be returned
to the City of Redlands.
