THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this lst day of January,
1967, by Matich Corporation and the City of Redlands, a Municipal
Corporation, for the purpose of supplying plant -minced paging materials,
screenings, asphaltic emulsion for seal coat, liquid asphalts, and
equipment rental for the period from January 1, 1967 to January 1, 1968.
ITEM 1. For furnishing 8,000 tons, more or less, of dense -graded,
plant -mixed asphaltic paving material which shall meet the
specifications of Section 39 of the Standard Specifications
of the State of California Division of Highways, dated
July, 1964. Such mat ,mial may be required using penetration
asphalts in various grades, and using mineral aggregates of
various graduations having a maximum aggregate size not to
exceed one-half inch.

ITEM 2. 1,000 tons, more or less, of open -graded plant -mixed asphaltic
paving material which shall meet the specifications of Section
39 - 2.06 of the aforesaid State Standard Specifications,
maximum aggregate size not to exceed three -eights inch.
(a) F.O.B. our Redlands plant to the City of
Redlands trucks . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $5.00 per ton
(b) F.O.B. jobs within the corporate limits of
the City of Redlands, California . . . . . . $6.00 per ton
ITEM 3. 200 tons, more or less, of rock screening which shall meet
the specifications for fine type seal coat of Section 37 of
the Standard Specifications.
(a) F.O.B. gobs within the corporate limits of the

ITEM 4. 2,000 gallons, more or less, of asphaltic emulsion which
shall meet the specifications for High Viscosity Type
Emulsion of Section 94 of the Standard Specifications.

ITEM 5. 2,000 gallons, more or less, of liquid asphalts to meet
specifications of Section 93 of Standard Specifications.
(a) F.O.B® jobs within the corporate limits of the
City of Redlands, California . . . . . . $0,30 per gallon
The plant shall be capable of producing one hundred (100) tons
of plant -mixed asphalt paving material per hour upon demand by the
City of Redlands. If material is not available at Matichts plant,
Matich shall arrange for other means of providing required material.
ITEM 6. For furnishing the following equipment, fully operated and
maintained, including transportation to and from the job,
and warm-up, if necessary. Equipment shall be available
on 72.-hour notice by the City.
(a) Barber -Greene finishing machine . . . . . . $38.00 per hr.
(b) Asphaltic Emulsion Distributor Equipment
minimum 400 gallon capacity . . . . . . . . $17.50 per hr.
(c) Tandem Roller, 5 to 8 ton . . . . . . . . . $18.00 per hr.
(d) Pneumatic -Tired Roller . . . . . . . . . . $18.00 per hr.
The price per gallon quoted under Item 4 above includes all costs
in ordering material, and also includes the cost of the distributor
truck and any overtime in excess of the two hours spreading time which
is normal for this operation.
For the application of penetration type emulsion for use as a tack
coat for plant -mixed surfacing, an hourly rental rate is listed above.
A charge of $0.16 per gallon will be made for the penetration type
emulsion used as tack coat for plant --mixed surfacing.

force and effect.
