THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this 1st day of
August , 1947, by and between the HOUSING
AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF :SAN B NARDINO, as First Party,
and CITY OF REDLANDS (SANITATION DEPART° =`vT) , of said
County, as Second Party:
WITNESSETH;
That said Second Party hereby contracts and agrees
to remove garbage and rubbish from Housing Project No.
Cal 19-1, known as Lugonia Homes, said garbage and rubbish
to be collected and removed from the roar doors of fifty
(50) units located and established by the First Party within
the territory of said Housing Project; and Second Party
agrees to take up and remove said garbage and rubbish
twic. each week, said collection days to be not more than
four (4) nor less than three (3) days apart in any one
week.
Said garbage and rubbish shall be removed in wagons,
trucks or tanks generally used in the disposal and collection
of garbage and rubbish, to the end that said garbage and rubbish
s . 11 be so removed with the least disturbance or inconvenience
to the tenants of said Housing Project, and disposed of in
a proper and sanitary manner.
First party agrees to pay the Second Party the cash sum of
fifty cents (54) per unit per month for such services and an

for the hauling of brush, payable on or before the 10th day
of each calendar month for the preceding calendar month,

First Party to the Second Party, and to continue to and
including the 31st day of December, 1947.
