Auguste 1968, is made and entered by and between THE CITY OF REDLANDb, hereinafter called "CITY" and Arthur hereinafter called "OWNER", as a Covenant Running With The Land. �Z Recitals 1. Owner owns the real property situate in the County of San Bernardino, state of California, described on Exhibit A attached hereto, and incorporated as a part of this covenant, and hereinafter referred to as "propertytl. 2. Owner desires to obtain a water connection to the Redlands Domestic Water system. FOR AND IN CONSIuERATION of the covenant contained herein, the City and the Owner agree as follows: 1. Owner may make a connection to the Redlands Domestic Water system subject to the terms, conditions, ana requirements oz all ordinances, resolutions, rules, and rates adopted by the City, and performance by Owner of the covenants herein. 2. Owner agrees that his property will be annexed to the City of Redlands within two (2) years of the date of this agreement. As part ox this agreement, the Owner shall sign an annexa- tion petition to be dated twenty-four (24) months after the date of this agreement, and which annexation petition shall be recorded together with this agreement and be a covenant running with the land, binding upon all successors in interest to the Owner. 4.
