1964,'by and between the Dependency Prevention Commission, hereinafter
called "DPC", and the City of Redlands - Redlands Unified School
District Recreation Commission, hereinafter called the "Commission",
for use of the Auditorium at 11 Main Street, Bryn Mawr, California:
1. The Commission agrees to as follows:
a. To use said premises for the sole and exclusive purpose
of conducting Co iesion recreation programs.
b. To commit no waste or nuisance on the premises.
o. To provide liability insurance coverage for the recreation
program.
d. To work and cooperate with the Dependency Prevention
Commission (DPC) on hourly use of this facility.
2. The DPC agrees to permit the Commission to so use the Auditorium
at no charge.
3. Neither the DPC nor the Commission shall be liable for loss
or dam to the property caused by fire or explosion, which liability
has been assumed by the owner of said property, Jack Clay, who has
agreed to hold the parties hereto harmless for any and all liability
for fire or explosion in a separate agreement dated the 3' day
of , 1964

LEASE AGR
This Agreement, made this k.ot, day of d c W , ,
196, by and between Mr. Jack Clay, hereinafter called "Clay", and
the City of Redlands - Redlands Unified School District Recreation
Commission, hereinafter called "Commission"
`IPNESS TH:
That for a good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, CLAY does hereby lease the yard area
located at 11 sb in Street, Bryn wr, California, to the Commission
for a period of six (6) months commencing the 3rd day of
J NARY , 1961, and terminating on the 3rd day of
JUNE , 1961.
1. The Co ission eov'enants as follows:
a. To use the area at 11 Main Street, Bryn Mawr, California,
shown in red color on Exhibit A attached hereto, for recreation
activities during the daytime hours only.
b. To commit no waste or nuisance on the premises.
c. To hold Clay harmless from any liability for any dam .
to any occupant of the property or to any other person during the term
of the lease.
d. To provide liability coverage on all programs planned on
these premises.
2. Neither Clay or the Co ¢'ssion shall be liable to the other for
loss or damage caused by fire or explosion.
3. Terminations It is mutually agreed as follows:
a. That Clay may cancel and terminate this
rental, by giving thirty (30) days notice in writing either by •«rsonal
delivery or registered mail. It is agreed that if default shall be
made in any of the covenants herein contained, it shall then be proper
for Clay , or its agents, to re-enter the said premises and to
remove all persons and property therefrom, and the Commission consents
that Clay may re-enter in this manner.
b. That at the termination of this rental agreement, the
Coq,ission shall quit and surrender the said premises hereby rented in
good order and condition.
c. That all notices sent by mail shall be addressed as follows:

To the Commission.
Recreation Commission
City Hall, Vine & Cajon Streets
Redlands, California
Notice by mail shall be deemed completed at the expiration of the
third day after the day of mailing.
IN WITNESS IREREOF, Jack Clay has caused this rental
agreement to be executed and to be signed by Jack Clay
and the Cit of Red anda - Redlands Unified School District Recreation Co
has hereunto set its hand the day and year first above written.
