Dear Bill, Purkiss Rase-RSI is writing this correspondence:in regards to the City's request thatthedesign team consideCilie services and fee schedule requiredI6 complete an expansion of the athletic facilities at the Big League Dreams project in Redlands and modifications to the construction documents as they relate to the value engineering Options presented to the City. These are two separate issues which we feel can be addressed within the same Change Order request. 1) The first portion of this Change Order request involves the preparation of one(1)Master Site Plan indicating the Big League Dreams portion of the field, and in additional, the inclusion of a forty (40) acre sports field. The forty(40) additional acres would be earmarked for soccer field layouts. This portion of the Change"Order would involve services and feeitd complete one(1) Preliminary Master Site Plan. The second issue would include the services and fee schedule for the preparation of construction documents to include an eight(8)acre,four(4)lighted, soccer field complex to the west of the Big League Dreams fields. The additional eight(9)acres would include four(4)lighted soccer fields, one(1) Restroom facility and expanded vehicular parking. The design team involved with these additional sen-ices would include the Purkiss Anse RSI, the Building architect, the Geotechnial Engineer, the Electrical Engineer, the Structural Engineer and the Civil Engineer. The preparation of aproject Master Site Plan would include the Big League Dreams project and the additional forty (40) acre site to the west. The-Master Site Plan for the forty(40) additional acres would identify all the newly planned program amenities including soccer fields, softball fields,one(1) restroorn-1concession building,.one(1)maintenance bufldin&walkways, parking areas and vehicular entry monuments. The Big League Dreams facilities including ball fields, parking areas, support buildings, etc. would be shown on the new Master Site Plan. We would presume that the City of Redlands would be providing Furkiss Aose-BMwith the specific design program amenities for the forty(40) acre site. A prellarmiary construction cost estimate would be prepared for the programed amenities idtnxtified on the forty acres.
