PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES
This first amendment (this "First Amendment") to the Agreement for the Provision of
Professional Environmental Consulting Services dated March 9, 2006 (the "Agreement"), by and
between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation ("City") and RBF Consulting, a California
Corporation ("Consultant") is made and entered into this 16`h day of May, 2006.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement to
change the scope of services to be provided by Consultant;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Agreement between City and Consultant is hereby amended as
follows:
Section 1. Exhibit "A" of the Agreement is hereby amended to include within its scope of
services to be performed by Consultant the preparation of a Shared Parking Analysis for inclusion in
the Redlands Mall Redevelopment Project Environmental Impact Report in accordance with the
Urban Land Institute (ULI) shared parking analysis methodology.
Section 2. The Shared Parking Analysis shall be prepared for a total cost of Three Thousand
Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,250.00), as more fully detailed in the attached Exhibit "A" to this
First Amendment. The compensation to be paid to Consultant under the Agreement shall be
increased by such amount.
Section 3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties have executed this First Amendment,to be effective as
of May 16, 2006.

EXHIBIT "A"
SHARED PARKING ANALYSIS
SCOPE OF WORK
This task will be added to the following section in the Scope of Work: Part 2, Environmental
Impact Report, Task 2.5C, Traffic and Parking. The scope description below will be added to
the end of Task 2.5C, following the subheading Air Quality and Acoustical Traffic Assessment.
Shared Parking Analvsis
RBF will prepare a shared parking analysis for inclusion in the Redlands Mail Redevelopment
project EIR in accordance with Urban Land Institute (ULI) shared parking analysis methodology
for submission to the City of Redlands. The shared parking analysis will evaluate the potential
for a reduction in the number of parking spaces required by the City if the ULI-based analysis
demonstrates specific land uses on-site have different (compatible) peak parking demand
allowing for shared parking opportunities on the project site.
Cost $3,250.00
