6 Bernardino" and the CITY OF REDLANDS, California, hereinafter
7called "Redlands".

from time to tine dogs are found running at age,
10 contrary to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1O86 of the City of

14 VOMMEAS, Redlands does not have a pound or facilities to
15 handle the impounding ,r disposal of dogs and San Bernardino does
16 have such facilities and is agreeable to aid and assist Redlands
17 by the caring for, Impounding and disposing of such dogs found
18 running at large, contrary to the provisions of said Ordinance
19 No. 1086, in said City of glands.
20 NOW, Tuturoas, IT IS SEREST AGREED BY AND BCE THE
21 PARTS HERETO, AS FOLLOWS:
22 1. That San Bernardino shall through its Animal GOntol
23 Department accept, impound and dispose of any and all dogs which
24 are found running at large in the City of Redlands contrary to
25 the provisions of said Ordinance No. 1086.
26 2. That San Bernardino shall for and on behalf of Redlands
27 kill or otherwise dispose of all dogs found running at large con-
28 tram► to the provisions of said Ordinance No. 1086 in the City of
29 Redlands, provided that no dog so impounded shall be Itillad or
30 otherwise disposed of without an attempt to notify the owner of
31 such dos, if he be known by City, and no dog impounded under the
32 provisions of this ordinance shall be killed before seventy-two
1 (7 ) hours have used from th . time of the taking up of such

agent will issue a license upon proof of vaccination.
2 7. That San Bernardino shall charge two dollars ($2.00)
3 per day for each dog suspected of having rabies or hydrophobia,
4 vicious animal or mammal or any other dog or animal brought to
5 the San Bernardino City Pound by Redlands' Chief of Police or
6 his autborited agent for observation, and in the event of di.s-
7 posal of said dog or other animal upon order of Rod lands' Chief
8 of Police or his authorized agent, then San Bernardino shall boo
9 paid the sum of two dollars ($2.00) for said disposal.
10 8. That the City of San Bernardino shall charge for the
11 disposal of dead dogs the sum of one dollar 0 1. ), and the sum
12 of one dollar ($1.00) shall be charged for the disposal of live
13 puppies under three (3) months of ages the fee for the disposal
✓ 14 of dead cats shall be the sum of fifty cents (504) for each cat
15 or kitten.
16 9. That San Bernardino shall present a bill on the first
17 day of each and every month for all charges, sille.,during the prior
18 month, which said bill shall be paid by Redlands not later than t
19 twenty-fifth day of *aid month.
20 13. That this agreement may be terminated by either party
21 thereto upon the giving of a written notice of termination
22 sixty (60) days prior to said termination. This agreement terms*
23 nates that certain agreement between the parties hereto dated
24 September 24, 1968.
25 IN WAS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
26 agreement on the day and year first above written.
