HomeMy WebLinkAboutContracts & Agreements_31-1970AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE TAX DEEDED LAND THIS AGREEMENT, made on the lst day of December 1970 , by and between the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino , State of California, and the City of Redlands , pursuant to the provisions of Division 1, Part 6, Chapter 8, of the Revenue and Taxation Code. WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the real property situated within the (City of Redlands ) County of San Bernardino , State of California, hereinafter set forth in Exhibit "A", attached to and made a part hereof, has been deeded to the State of California for the non-payment of delinquent taxes; and WHEREAS, such deed to the State for taxes includes taxes levied by the City of Redlands, the taxes o-L� which on the prop- erty are collected by the County officers; NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows: 1. That as provided by Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, the cost of giving notice of this agreement shall be paid by the _ City of Redlands 2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino agrees to sell to said ' City of Redlands and said City of Redlands agrees to purchase from said County the parcel of property hereinafter set out in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, which shall not have been re- deemed as provided in the Revenue and Taxation Code, upon payment by said District to the Tax Collector of said County the sum set forth in said exhibit after the description of the property and designated "Purchase Price", within 15 days after this agreement becomes effective. 3. That -said City of Redlands Distract will share in the distribution of the payment required by this agreement.
