SERVICES FOR PHASE I OF THE REDLANDS SPORTS PARK
This sixth amendment (this "Sixth Amendment") to the Agreement to furnish Consulting
Services for Phase I of the Redlands Sports Park dated January 15,2002 (the"Agreement"),by and
between the City of Redlands, a Municipal corporation ("City") and STB Landscape Architects
("Consultant") is made and entered into this 1.71h day of May, 2005.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement to
change the scope of services to be provided by Consultant;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Agreement between City and Consultant is hereby amended as
follows:
Section 1. Exhibit"A"of the Agreement, is hereby amended to include within its scope the
additional professional design services to add/relocate four soccer fields as detailed in Exhibit"I"
dated May 2, 2005, of this Sixth Amendment.
Section 2. The additional professional design services shall be completed for a total cost of
$11,000, as more fully detailed in the attached Exhibit "I" to this Sixth Amendment.
Section 3. All other sections of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties have executed this Sixth Amendment,to be effective
as of May 17, 2005.

Subject: Redlands Sports Park, Additional Services
Dear Bill,
The following is in response to your request for a proposal for professional services for the Redlands
Sports Park to add/relocate four soccer fields.
Expansion of Soccer Fields:
It is understood that the additional services includes four,full sized(225 feet x 330 feet)soccer fields
(in conjunction with the previously prepared plans for four fields)with high quality turf, supporting
irrigation,and play-level lighting on two of the new fields(four total),excluding the street frontage area
and meandering sidewalk.
A. Grading PI
STB Landscape Architect's consultant,Mapco,will provide a complete precise grading
plan for the additional four fields.Design work will be based upon the adjacent grading
and drainage plan prepared by Mapco.Adjustments to the previous grading plan will be
made as needed to encompass the new field areas only.
B. Layout and Construction Plan
A complete construction plan will be prepared that indicates all site improvements and
facilities on the revised project site. A construction layout/dimension plan will be
provided for all the improvements that will allow location of said elements for
construction.The restroom facilities will be relocated to the area shown on the Exhibit
you provided to STB.

C. Irrigation Plan
An irrigation plan will be prepared for the additional four fields. The irrigation design
will provide all equipment and piping layouts, water usage calculations and will be
designed within the City's `water window' of allowable water time.
D. Landsca ep Plan
The planting plan will indicate all plant materials to be used, soil amendment
specifications,mow curbing and other elements necessary for a detailed planting plan.
Soils testing will be provided to determine the agronomic needs of the proposed plant
materials.
E. LightiniPlan
STB Landscape Architect's consultant, Redlands Engineering, will provide a "play
level" lighting plan for two additional lighted fields.
Design Fees:
The fees for these additional services are as follows:
Civil Engineering: $ 5,200.00
Landscape Architecture: $ 4,200.00
Electrical Engineering. $ 1,600.00
Total Design Fees for Additional Services: $11,000.00
These additional services shall be considered an addendum to the previous contract for Phase I of the
Redlands Sports Park.. All conditions of that proposal apply as if herein contained.
