HomeMy WebLinkAboutContracts & Agreements_125-2005_CCv0001.pdf SEVENTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT TO FURNISH CONSULTING SERVICES FOR PHASE I OF THE REDLANDS SPORTS PARK This seventh amendment (this "Seventh Amendment") to the Agreement to furnish Consulting Services for Phase I of the Redlands Sports Park dated January 15, 2002 (the "Agreement"), by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation ("City") and STB Landscape Architects ("Consultant") is made and entered into this 21"day Of June, 2005. RECITALS WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement to change the scope of services to be provided by Consultant; NOW, 1"HEREFORE, the Agreement between City and Consultant is hereby amended as follows: Section 11. Exhibit"A"of the Agreement, is hereby amended to include within its scope the additional professional design services to add/relocate four soccer fields as detailed in Exhibit "I" CklteCl June 15, 2005, of this Seventh Amendment, Section 2,, The additional professional design services shall be completed for a total cost of 54,600, as more fully detailed in the attached Exhibit"I" to this Seventh Amendment. Section 3. All other sections of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Seventh Amendment, to be effective as of June 21, 2005. No. 460 Mr. Bill Hemsley, Senior Civil.Engineer June 15, 2005 City of Redlands, Public Works Department 35 Cajon Street, Suite 222 Redlands, CA 92373 Subject: Redlands Sports Park, Additional Services, Exhibit I Dear Bill, Bill, The following is in response to your request for a proposal for professional services for the Redlands Sports Park to provide landscape and irrigation designs for the multi-use trails from Sessums Drive through to the west side of the SBKR conservation area. The design will also be modified for the detention basin to show phase one landscaping for the street side slopes of the detention basin only with associated irrigation. The following outlines the scope of work for these additional services: A. Irrigation Plan: An irrigation plan will be prepared for the planted areas immediately adjacent to the two multi-use trails as indicated on the Park Master Plan and along Dearborn Drive to Sessums Drive. The irrigation design will provide all equipment and piping layouts. The irrigation plan for the detention basin will be modified to incorporate the multipurpose trail landscaping along Dearborn Drive. B. Landscape Plan The planting plan will indicate all plant materials to be used, soil amendment specifications, trail fencing if desired and other elements necessary for a detailed planting plan. The fees for these additional services would be $4,600.00. These additional services shall be considered an addendum to the previous contract for Phase I of the Redlands Sports Park.
