WHEREAS, it is the desire of City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement to
change the scope of services to be provided by Consultant;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Agreement between City and Consultant is hereby amended as
follows:
Section 1. Exhibit"A"of the Agreement,is hereby amended to include within its scope the
additional professional design services to assist in construction services as detailed in Exhibit"1"
dated October 13, 2006,of this Eighth Amendment,
Section 2. The additional professional design services shall be completed for a total cost of
$8,000,as more fully detailed in the attached Exhibit"1"to this Eighth Amendment.
Section 3. All other sections of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,the parties have executed this Eighth Amendment,to be effective
as of November 7, 2006.

Subject: Redlands Sports Park, Additional Services
Dear Bill,
The following is a requested Change Order to our original contract. This is needed to provide the plan
review and On-Call services outlined below.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
PLAN REVIEW
A. STB will review the bid packages and plans prepared by Big League dreams for the street
frontages adjacent to their parcel. Plans will be reviewed for coordination between the two
projects and for any value-engineering items that might be available.
ON-CALL SERVICES
A. STB shall be available on an as-needed basis to provide technical advice, not limited to the
following:
1• Technical Assistance Oversight during construction to answer Requests for Information(RFIs)
regarding the design and specifications.
2. Participate in meetings and site visits as requested(minimum 72 hours notice needed).
4. Review and preparation of Contractor supplied Record Drawings after construction of the park
has been completed.

FEES AND TERMS:
Services described above shall bep rovided for at our attached hourly rates not to exceed $8,000
(maximum of 60 hours of work plus reimbursable items and Redlands Engineering subconsultant
construction services assistance). Payment shall be due monthly upon completion of the services
rendered. Payment shall be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of Amendment Eight to
original contract for the project and all conditions apply as if herein contained.

NORMAL HOURLY RATES
Landscape Architect-President's
time at the fixed rate of. $115.00 per hour
Secretary's
time at the fixed rate of $45.00 per hour
Mileage: $.48 per mile
REIMBURSABLE ITEMS
Reimbursable items,such as the cost of blueprinting,graphic reproduction,photo copying and plotting
will be billed at our direct cost plus 15%.
